iPad sketch #4
Flames, fire, the spectacle, the crappy food, watered down drinks, welcome to a luau
You are walking down the long corridor of life, when suddenly PEW PEW! They are firing! You try and grab your gun, charge your chest pack and fire. Is it too late? Did you hit? You wont know until you assess the damage.
Dropping in, having the confidence to take action, that is the way to survive. You leap, dropping faster than anticipated, you act fast, and all is well.
You get on the bus, knowing what you have to do when you get off. Clutching at your briefcase, you know, once the drop has been made, your life could be in danger, but it is worth the risk.
Standing on the outside, looking in you wonder what lies ahead, should I knock? Walk in? Or just observe, go forth, be brave, hold steady you will be amazed.
The working man, they built this country with their hands, no fancy computers, barely fancy machines, and all guts. Sure, the life was hard, but they were inspired by the possibility of what could be.
If you have not seen this movie, see it. Well worth the time, such a cool vibe to it and I really dug how understated everything was. I really dug his jacket, this is my tribute to that.
For it’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out, At the old ball game.

Part robot, part lion, all rad! It’s Ryon!

Love the classic movie “Memories” by Katsuhiro Otomo, one of my favorite shorts on the movie is Cannon Fodder. Really dig the designs of the weapons and the world. This is my take on the classic cover of Memories.
Never drawn a bug before, was fun to learn the subtle aspects of the cars angles, curves etc. Happy Thursday!
